By accessing our website, making a reservation, booking an event, or staying as a guest, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Acceptance of Terms<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These Terms govern your use of the Ashbourne Manor website and all services we provide, including overnight accommodations, weddings, and special events. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reservations and Bookings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All room reservations and event bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Ashbourne Manor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A valid credit card or other accepted payment method is required to secure a reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deposits are non-refundable except as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Event and wedding bookings require a signed contract and deposit. Specific terms for events will be provided in the individual event agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rates, Payment, and Taxes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicable state and local taxes, resort fees (if any), and service charges will be added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full payment or remaining balance is due according to the schedule provided at booking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for any outstanding balances, damages, or incidentals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cancellation and Refund Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Overnight stays:<\/strong> Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival may receive a full refund (less any non-refundable deposit). Cancellations less than 14 days are non-refundable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Events and weddings:<\/strong> Cancellation terms are detailed in the individual event contract. Deposits are generally non-refundable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No-shows are charged the full amount of the reserved stay or event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We recommend travel insurance for protection against unforeseen circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please see our full cancellation policy HERE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Check-In \/ Check-Out<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard check-in is after 3:00 PM; check-out is by11:00 AM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability and possible fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid government-issued photo identification and the credit card used for booking are required at check-in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Guest Conduct and House Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guests agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Treat the historic property, furnishings, and grounds with care and respect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Observe quiet hours: 10:00 PM \u2013 8:00 AM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with all posted house rules, including any restrictions on smoking, pets, occupancy limits, or use of candles\/open flames.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrain from any illegal, disruptive, or destructive behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ashbourne Manor is a historic Victorian home (built 1901) and is reputed to have paranormal activity. While we welcome guests interested in its history and atmosphere, we do not guarantee any specific experiences and assume no liability for claims related to alleged paranormal activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We reserve the right to refuse service or require any guest to leave without refund if these rules are violated or if behavior endangers the property, staff, or other guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Liability and Assumption of Risk<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guests stay and use the property at their own risk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ashbourne Manor, its owners, and staff are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, or for any injury, illness, or accident occurring on the premises, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The historic nature of the building means floors, stairs, and grounds may be uneven. Guests should exercise appropriate caution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are not responsible for any alleged paranormal experiences or related emotional or psychological effects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Force Majeure<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government actions, pandemics, utility failures, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will work in good faith to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements where possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Intellectual Property<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All content on the Ashbourne Manor website (text, images, logos, design) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other laws.
